Dozens of people in Doncaster turned out to a funday in aid of a Yorkshire charity.

The Well Wish charity held a fun day on Saturday, September 21 at Doncaster Town Fields sport club where they hoped to beat the world record for largest shaving foam pie fight singular event.

Sadly, people attending the event were unable to beat the world record but were still able to ‘throw a pie in the face of cancer’ and raise some money for the Well Wish charity.

The charity raises money for people with disabilities and illnesses such as neuroblastoma and autism.

Event organiser Phil Robinson Jones said the day had been a lot of fun, and that he hoped to attempt the world record again next year.

Activities on the day included a bucking bull ride, a raffle and a disco.
