Calling all superheroes to Doncaster’s Frenchgate shopping centre this half term

A Doncaster shopping centre is calling all superheroes to join them this half term for a whole host of free and fun activities.

From February 16 to 20, 11am until 4pm, families are being encouraged to visit the Frenchgate Shopping Centre and take part in variety of free activities to celebrate half term.

The theme for the week is superheroes and the action packed activities include superhero face painting on Wednesday, craft workshops on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, mask making on Monday, cupcake decorating on Tuesday, super badge making, on Thursday and superhero cuff making on Friday.

One of the highlights of the week is undoubtedly set to be a meet and greet with Spiderman himself on Wednesday, February 18.

This is something not be missed for all fans of the webslinger young and old alike.

In addition youngsters are being invited to take part all week in a hunt to catch the dastardly Darth Vader bear for the chance to win super prizes courtesy of Frenchgate.

Lauren Sims, Marketing Assistant at Frenchgate, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming lots of families and children next week for some half term fun.

“We have themed our event Superheroes as we know how much children love dressing up and emulating their favourite superhero characters.

“We are encouraging youngsters from across the region to come along and dress like their superhero and have a great time with us.”
