Revoluntionary new bareMinerals foundation review

When it comes to foundation I often worry about the affects of caking my face in it on a daily basis.

So I was excited to try bareMinerals new bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation - the first liquid foundation from the brand that combines mineral foundation and skincare serum in one.

The product has fewer than half the ingredients of many liquid foundations with no water, no silicone, no oil, no parabens and no fragrance - it sounded good on paper.

When I first applied the foundation I was surprised by just how fluid the texture was and worried I would not be able to achieve good coverage with such a lightweight formula.

But when applied with the bareMinerals Perfecting Face Brush it glided onto the skin and was easy to blend and build up different levels of coverage for different daytime and evening looks.

And the product certainly brightened my skin with a generous dose of Vitamin C and lilac plant stem cells packed in to give you a radiant boost - much needed at this time of year.

It took me a few days to get to grips with the consistency but I’m so happy I’ve discovered this skin friendly alternative to my usual thick, fuller coverage foundations.

bareMinerals Pure Brightening Serum Foundation is available priced at £26 applied with the Perfecting Face Brush priced at £24 available at bareMinerals
