A business guru was invited to a meeting with the Prime Minister to discuss how the Government can help British exporters.
Michael Wilkinson, director of learning resource firm i-education, was one of only 14 business people from across the country to be invited to see David Cameron at Number 10.
The meeting was organised by the British Chambers of Commerce. Business secretary Vince Cable also attended,
Mr Wilkinson, 30, said: “The meeting demonstrates the Government has a genuine desire to listen to businesses and take on board their points.
“It’s great to be recognised as a healthy, growing business with a good story to tell and be chosen to represent companies across the UK in this way.”
i-education specialises in online games-based learning and assessment for schools. Its technology is used by more than 1,000 schools in the UK and powers learning for more than 10,000 schools and 12 million users in Malaysia.
Mr Wilkinson said: “We have a major opportunity in Malaysia that we would like to capitalise on.” He would like to visit Malaysia to develop business face to face.
