A SMALL business set up after redundancy has received a royal seal of approval.
Beverley Flanaghan established her bookkeeping practice after losing her job as a financial controller and is now celebrating its success and growth. Along with her three staff, she recently travelled to London’s Savoy Hotel where she received the Luca Award for Bookkeeping Practice of the Year. It was presented by HRH Prince Michael of Kent who is patron of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers with which Beverley’s business, Flex Accounting, is qualified.
The firm, which has provided work for people from areas including Maltby and Brinsworth, has also expanded from its Sheffield base into larger premises and taken on a virtual London office to cope with rising demand further south.
