Doncaster-based piping systems manufacturer Polypipe has pledged support to British Jet Ski Champion Brad Rickaby.
The firm is sponsoring the 23-year-old Hatfield racer, who is also backed by the Hungarian jet ski team, called the Kasza Racing Team, as he looks to win the European Jet Ski Championships.
Brad’s season is set to culminate with the British Championships at the Doncaster Lakeside in September.
He said: “2016 is a make or break year for me as I want to go fully professional and earn the opportunity to compete across the world, in events in Dubai and the United States.
“Having the support of a large local company such as Polypipe is a great boost for me and will help me to achieve my goals.
“I’m delighted that they are on board.”
Rachel Smith, marketing communications manager for Polypipe, added: “We love a local hero at Polypipe, and what Brad has already achieved puts him in that bracket.
“We hope our support can assist Brad as he looks to get to the next level of his sport, and go fully professional.
“We are excited to be able to cheer him on in his hometown competition at Doncaster Lakeside. We are so pleased to be involved and look forward to sharing in his successes this year and beyond.”
Polypipe has a long history of supporting other sports stars and clubs, including Doncaster Rugby League Football Club and Doncaster Rovers.
