A Doncaster brewery has used a cask of its birthday beer to raise money for a local branch of the British legion.

The Old Mill brewery in Snaith donated a cask of its anniversary beer, ‘Cheers for thirty years’ to the Punchbowl pub in Thorne who have donated all of the profits from that cask to the Thorne and District branch of the British legion. Punch bowl staff member Jacqui Whitehead and assistant manager Wade Armitage met with Judd Byse from the British legion last week to donate the proceeds.
