From Belton to Ben Nevis

A Belton woman is among a group to have conquered Ben Nevis in a charity climb last weekend.

Charlie Robinson took up the challenge in aid of Acorns Children’s Hospice, and helped to raise around £4000 to help sick youngsters and their families.

Following the 11-mile climb that took the group seven hours to complete, Charlie said she felt tender but added that it was a “brilliant weekend “ that she would repeat if given the chance. She added: “Met some wonderful people, raised money for charity and got to see some amazing views. It was absolutely breathtaking....a different world up there.”

The climb was organised by the charity love2give, that helps children and young adults, website http://www.love2give.org.uk/. Donations can still be made.
