Barnsley man accused of robbery and blackmail is on the run
A man charged with robbery and blackmail offences is at large after he failed to appear at Sheffield Crown Court.
Shaun Chamberlain, aged 30, failed to appear before a judge on October 7 last year and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
South Yorkshire Police said that despite a number of attempts to locate him he remains at large and officers are now appealing for the public’s help in locating him.
A police spokesperson said: “Members of the public are advised not to approach Shaun Chamberlain but to contact police.
“Anyone with information is asked to call police via: 101 and quoting incident number 617 of the 10 September last year.
“Information can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or passed, anonymously and in confidence, on: 0800 555 111.”
