Arsonists hunted over blazes across South Yorkshire

Arsonists are being hunted by South Yorkshire Police following a series of fires.

In the early hours of this morning a car was set alight in Ash Hill Road, Hatfield, Doncaster and at 10.40pm yesterday a car was torched in Brosley Avenue, Barnby Dun, Doncaster.

Yesterday afternoon a caravan was torched in Hooton Road, Kilnhurst, Rotherham and two motorbikes were set alight in Warris Place, Wybourn, Sheffield.

In the early hours of Sunday a Volkswagen was set alight in Rainbow Avenue, Hackenthorpe, Sheffield and a Fiat Punto was fired in Badger Road, Woodhouse, Sheffield.

Firefighters dealt with a skip set alight in Meadowhall Way, Meadowhall, on Saturday afternoon and earlier that day a car was torched in Remington Road, Parson Cross, Sheffield.

On Friday a Volvo estate was set on fire in Oaks Lane, Shiregreen, Sheffield and another car was torched in Queen Street, Swinton, Rotherham.
