‘Tis the season to be jolly, and what better way to get in to the Christmas spirit than by going to see Cast’s first pantomime, Cinderella which opens today (December 5)?

In this brand new version, written especially for Doncaster, expect plenty of twists, turns and surprises.

There will be live music, beautiful costumes, mayhem and plenty of silly songs. Will Cinderella get to the pick-a-princess ball? Will the Prince fall in love with her? And what about Buttons, what will his fate be? Directed by Cast’s Artistic Director, Kully Thiarai, Cinderella is Cast’s very own production and will have more magic and sparkle than ever seen before.

Earlier this year JLS, who are one of the X Factor’s biggest exports announced they would be calling time on their career.

And this week the award-winning four piece boy band come to the Motorpoint Arena on their Goodbye tour, when people attending can expect to hear songs from the band’s back catalogue such as Beat Again, Everybody in Love and Take a Chance on Me.

This is the last time all four members will perform together, so make sure you get in to see them while you still can!

South Yorkshire’s very own Kate Rusby comes to town for to showcases the carols and songs learnt through childhood. Come along to hear new variations of familiar carols mostly unheard outside the area together with a selection of old favourites.

This unmissable evening of entertainment will feature songs from Kate’s two albums of Yorkshire-inspired songs and carols. Kate is on tour with her hugely talented band, complete with brass quintet, which should make for a rousing Christmas celebration!
