The second Steel City Derby installment takes place on March 2 when Sheffield Wednesday face Sheffield United at Hillsborough.

This year's Sheffield Pride will take place on July 27. Rock out to a host of tribute bands at Sheffield Fake Festival at Endcliffe Park on May 18. The county wide cycle race returns to Yorkshire from May 2-5. Fancy a run? The Sheffield Half Marathon takes place on April 14. The Crucible Theatre will once again be the focus of the action on the green baize between April 20 and May 6. The multi-million selling rocker will perform at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane stadium on June 15. New routes announced for 2019 include Florida, Turkey, Greece and Croatia. The annual literary and arts festival is back from June 6-11 across the city centre. The ever-popular band will appear at Sheffield Arena on April 12, 13, 15 and 16.
