ROTHERHAM’S Elton House Hotel is the latest venue to host a Comedy Club show, following the company’s successful evenings at Tankersley Manor.
The inaugural show, on Friday May 13, features host comedian Jonathan Elston.
At just 22 years of age, Jonathan is a fresh, punchy, gag-driven comic who combines sharp joke writing and quirky observations with a youthful likeability that charms his audience and endears him to any room.
Opening comedian is Danny Deegan. Danny can command the audience as a skilful raconteur, telling entertaining tales of his backwards pal’s encounter with a prostitute or of the unlikely fate of Eighties TV star Jan-Michael Vincent, of Airwolf fame.
Headlining is deaf comedian Steve Day – warm, witty and engaging, whilst dealing with the dilemmas of being a deaf man in a hearing world. His stories of overcoming the obstacles in his path leave crowds feeling inspired.
Tickets, including meal, are £25. and the ticket hotline is on 01709 545681. Doors open 7pm.
The Elton House Hotel is on Main Street, Rotherham, S66 2SF.
