New homes soon available close to Barnsley
A new housing development on the outskirts of Barnsley is to have properties available for sale within months.
Housebuilder Miller Homes has started construction work at the Honeywell Grange site, to bring 80 three and four bedroom homes to the local community.
“Interest is already gaining momentum on our new Barnsley development with people registering their interest on our website,” said Miller Homes Yorkshire’s sales manager Natalie Moore.
The development is a few minutes’ walk from the centre of town and all that it has to offer in terms of shopping, attractions and amenities, making it ideal for families.
“We are proud to create developments that not only have the very best quality housing but also quality of life for new and current residents of the town,” said Ms Moore.
“Our new homes will become part of a strong existing community and we expect demand to be high.”
The development encompasses two and three-storey traditional homes with public open spaces and sympathetic landscaping.
Ms Moore added; “Anyone interested should register with us online prior to the opening of the development. We are then able to keep people up to date with information such as prices and releases, and they will also receive an invitation to our preview weekend prior to the opening to the general public.”
Miller Homes is committed to building homes that blend in well with existing communities and that can make a difference to the quality of life for its purchasers.
All homes are fitted with smart meters to allow homeowners to manage their energy consumption and all have energy and water efficient appliances installed.

Honeywell Grange is one of four new Miller Homes’ developments due to open during 2017 across the county.
Established for 80 years, Miller Homes operates in six regions across the UK, including Scotland, North West, Yorkshire, North East, Midlands and Southern.
Their developments generally offer a variety of incentives, including government-backed schemes and its own schemes, in a bid to assist homebuyers in their purchase of a new home.
