Live music added to the atmosphere of this year’s bumper Misterton annual village Gala.
Despite early rain, the sun shone for the community event that brought in hundreds of visitors. New attractions, along with some old favourites, worked well as people of all ages found displays and activities to interest them.
Visitors saw demonstrations by police dog handlers, a blacksmith in action, theatre and dance groups, and there were many colourful stalls and competitions. Children’s races included a moto-bike race.
Profits from the day will support local charities and good causes. Next year’s event has already been planned for July 4.
