Axholme Licensed Tearoom is an exciting venue in the Isle, offering a range of teas, coffees, cakes and scones, all made freshly on the premises. The savoury specials change daily, all made using fresh, local ingredients from the Isle or just beyond, where ever possible.

There is Fairtrade tea and filter coffee as well as speciality tea, cappuccino, espresso, and cream teas.

In addition, there will be an interesting range of products on sale within a local produce section of the tearoom, which is now serving tempting preserves and chutneys made on site.

The tearoom has been set up by husband and wife team Mike and Jules Richards (above), who also run Axholme Brewing Company in Crowle.

It’s a venture they have long wanted to do, and they hope visitors will appreciate the ethos of the place.

Two Axholme beers are available on draught and the bottled range is available to take home. The tearoom is a cosy, comfortable place to unwind in, over a drink or two in pleasant rooms with friends, or for quiet moments on your own.

The venue also features local arts and crafts for sale. There are regularly on the premises exhibitions of works by the Isle of Axholme’s artistic community. The tearoom is slowly becoming a centre for local artisans to display their art works and to sell them on the premises. The art works will be available for sale for a limited period.

If you are an artist or craftsperson looking for somewhere to showcase your work in the Isle, please do get in touch with Jules Richards on 07443 491304 for a chat about possibilities.

Axholme Brewing Company was set up in 2012 producing quality local beers from premium ingredients. A wide range of styles are produced, from experimental beers to traditional ales, and the beers are regularly named after local places and influences.

Last year the Axholme Brewing Company moved to a larger brewery at 7 Lakes Country Park.

This was a necessary move that was made by the company to meet ever-increasing demand, and their ales are now available right across the country.

Their brand new outlet combines their love of delicious homemade cakes with carefully crafted artisan beer, all to be enjoyed at your leisure in relaxed, friendly surroundings.
