Hair-raising stunts, death-defying drama, and excitement are all on the cards when an action-packed show comes to town next week.

The Extreme Stunt Show will arrive at Doncaster Racecourse on Wednesday for one night only - and organisers are promising that this year’s action-packed extravaganza will be bigger and better than ever before.

Show spokesman Asia Sawicka said: “The most exciting, exhilarating and fastest growing motorsport event in Europe is heading your way - it’s going to be live and unbelievable.”

Last year’s event drew big crowds to Town Moor and the show will be stopping off in Doncaster as part of a nationwide UK tour.

The show promises ‘extreme, exciting entertainment’ and attractions will include monster truck mayhem, back flipping motorcross, and a feast of other daredevil stunts from some of the UK’s leading drivers.

The show is organised by Extreme Events Europe.

The arena, which will be situated in the centre of the racecourse, will be home to regular favourites including huge wheeled trucks Extreme and Lil’ Devil, which features in the Guinness Book of Records as one of the world’s biggest monster trucks.

Drivers Glen Wise and Mark Glover will wow the crowd in revealing how to handle a 2,000-plus horse-powered mammoth machine with the trucks getting a full winter MOT before returning for the summer season.

Motorcross madmen Dave Wiggins and Josh Grindrod will be flying through the air and reaching new heights as they perform a string of death-defying motorcross stunts, including crashing through walls of flame and performing a string of stunning somersaults.

Asia added: “This isn’t for the faint hearted - our daredevil duo don’t believe in boundaries, and you are sure to witness the impossible.”

Completing the line-up will be the pro BMX, trials and mountain bike riders of tomorrow who will also be putting their skills to the test.

Tickets for the show, which starts at 7.30pm, are priced £12 for adults and £6 for children. Tickets can be booked on 08444 771 000 or at
