Britain’s bluest comedian, Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown is bringing his ‘Who Ate All The Pies Tour’ to Sheffield City Hall next year on Friday 9th January 2015 to perform material from his latest DVD.

There is nothing that Chubby Brown, real name Royston Vasey, is afraid to talk about.

He is notorious for his lewd material that turns the air blue in auditoriums across the country, but it’s no joke that the business savvy man from North Yorkshire has performed week after week for over thirty years to sell out crowds.

The comedian, who is also a self trained multi-instrumentalist, first came to the public eye after performances on New Faces and Opportunity Knocks in the 1960’s and 70’s. Over the decades he has developed a strong following of dedicated fans who flock to his shows to hear his quick delivery, comedy songs, funny dance and of course, the brightly coloured costume.

His stand up DVDs have sold in their thousands despite his shows never being played on TV. His last DVD sold in excess of 60,000 units during the first few weeks of release.

Even though Chubby has been considered by many to be too outrageous for the mainstream, his message to them: “If easily offended please stay away’’ seems to have only fed people’s curiosity as his audiences are filled with new fans each year.

The material in his brand new show, ‘Who Ate All The Pies’, is another offering of jokes, touchy subjects and material which is really not for the faint hearted.

You can always rely on Chubby to shock but never disappoint. There’s nothing this man isn’t afraid to talk about!
