THE annual Christmas Tree Festival at Owston Ferry Methodist Church will officially open on Friday, November 25.
The event is organised along with other churches from across the Isle, both Methodist and Anglican, as well as community organisations and St Martin’s Primary School, Owston Ferry.
A music night with Intermezzo will start the event and this will be held tomorrow in the church, 7.30pm start.
There is no admission charge but a collection will be held for the charity Action 4 Children. Refreshments will also be served.
Members of the public are then welcome to view the trees between 2pm and 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday, November 26 and 27, and Saturday, December 3.
A carol service will also be held in the church on Sunday, December 4, at 2.30pm.
