Animal attractions at South Yorkshire’s award-winning wildlife park

Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Yorkshire Wildlife Park

How many places are there in Yorkshire where you can walk with lemurs and wallabies and get up close to lions, tigers, giraffes and the animals of South America?

We only know of one! The award-winning Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster is the UK’s number one walk through wildlife adventure.

The Monkey Play House and Café gives parents a fantastic, warm, weather-proof haven in which to entertain their children – a giant playhouse well worth a visit.

Carefully constructed, complete with amazing slides, walkways and carved wooden baboons, this is the perfect play area, with views over the real baboon reserve.

While you’re there, call in to see Tschuna, one of the largest big cats in the world, plus the rare tigress Amur who is one of the latest additions to the Park. She’s settling in well and is amazing to watch in action in her new habitat.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park is open every day from 10.30am to 4pm, with last entry into the park at 3.30pm. Visit for more information.
