TALENTED young Indie band The Sherlocks are planning an evening of live music, at The Angel Pub, in Bolton on Dearne, in aid of avery good cause.

The gig on Friday February 25 is to recognise the work Weston Park Hospital does for Cancer patients and their families.

The Sherlocks AKA the Davidson and Crook brothers will bash out covers of Arctic Monkeys, Libertines, Stereophonics, The Jam, Police and The Beatlesto name but a few.

Julie Crook, proud mum of drummer Brandon and guitarist Kairan, told the Times: “Already for their young ages they lads have been very well received wherever they have played. I am confident anyone seeing them will be amazed at their ability and talent to play to such standard, and sing the variety of tracks they do.

The boys practice at every opportunity, despite other commitments like college and school. They would like this event to be a huge success to both raise awareness of the charity, and provide much needed funds for this hospital”.

There will be a raffle to help on the night and several collection boxes for donations. Entry at 7.30pm is free.
