As part of Families Awareness Week, which runs June 20-26, a Doncaster initiative is reminding families that if they are affected by drug and alcohol misuse help is on offer.

The Family Moving On Together project, which is run by Project 3 – a health and wellbeing service for young people aged 18 and under – and Aspire Drug and Alcohol Services, is an eight week programme to support families who have children aged over eight where a parent or carer is misusing drugs and/or alcohol.

The group runs on Thursdays between 4.30pm and 6pm in eight week blocks at The Flying Scotsman Centre, St Sepulchre Gate West.
