New College Doncaster is celebrating with an Open Day after Ofsted rated it outstanding in all areas in its first full inspection.

Its first Open Day of the academic year, the event is aimed at prospective students and their families – particularly those planning for September 2023 entry,

Visitors will find out why the college was most recently rated as the fourth best sixth form college in the country for achievement, in the latest release of data from the DfE.

They will also find out why Ofsted rated the college as ‘outstanding’ in all areas, in its first full inspection.

Results were record breaking in 2022 with an 61% of all A-Level grades being an A*-B, 87% being A*-C and 72% of Applied General grades being Distinction or Distinction*

A spokesperson said of the Open Day: “Discover the wide selection of A-Levels and Level 3 Applied General qualifications that you can tailor to create your perfect study programme.

Open Day events to speak to students, teaching staff, support teams and senior leaders, to find out about its wide selection of A Levels and Applied General courses including BTECs, will be held on the following dates:
