The Doncaster store is one of 25 planned store openings in 2021, with northern-based Flooring Superstore continuing with its significant investment and growth strategy.

Regional manager Greig Anderson said: “We had planned to open the Doncaster store in January, but the recent national lockdown prevented this from happening, however with restrictions on non-essential retail now having been lifted, we took the earliest opportunity to open our doors. We’re delighted to have a presence in Doncaster. It’s our first store in South Yorkshire, so it’s a significant step for us.”

Flooring Superstore was established in 2012 as an online business, it now also has a number of ‘bricks and mortar’ stores, only beginning to open stores in 2017 and now has 30 across the UK. This m akes it one of the country’s fastest growing businesses, not only in the flooring sector but retail as a whole .

Shoppers have access to an unrivalled range of carpets but also a huge choice of other flooring, such as vinyl, laminate, real wood, luxury vinyl tiles, EvoCore and the UK’s largest selection of artificial grass.
