“We’ve noticed a lot of local people are staying here.”
There are 21 alpacas all together - all of which are tame.
They’re extra fluffy at the moment as they still have their winter coats.
Guests can feed and walk the alpacas when they stay at the campground.
There are three bell tents on site which have real beds inside.

“But most take advantage of our fire pit and BBQ to eat on site.”
There are not many places where people can interact so closely with alpacas which is why owner Dean Pratt believes they are doing so well.
He said: “Alpacas have a very calm temperament which people enjoy.
“They’re inquisitive and gentle.”

Hide AdKaren and Dean are close with their alpacas and have named them all.
There’s Arthur, Jeffery, Susie, Claire and Mary just to name a few.
Two special characters are Larry and Allan who are known fondly as ‘Kevin and Perry’ due to their cheeky nature.
“They’re all our babies,” Karen said.
“We started out with eight but the family has just grown and grown.
“We struggle to ever part with them.”
