The Arthur Miller play – which is in two parts – is a sexually-charged, semi-autobiographical play about his relationship with his one-time wife, Marilyn Monroe. The first part, Elegy for a Lady, follows the story of a wealthy man who wanders into a classy boutique looking for a gift for his mistress – a young woman with only a short time to live, only for the shop proprietrrss to gradually assume the dying woman’s persona.

In Some Kind of Love Story, a private eye finds himself bound to the prostitute whom he believes holds the vital information he desperately requires to resolve the case that has preoccupied him for years.
