Musicians from across Doncaster crowded at Clock Corner to raise charity cash for Oxjam – charity Oxfam’s annual music festival.

Doncaster organiser Lucy Raybould said: “We really just want to get some cash for the charity and raise the profile of all the great musicians there are in Doncaster.”

The free al fresco gig was the first in a packed weekend of events for Oxjam – tomorrow there will be another free gig at Clock Corner, between 11am and 2pm and tomorrow also sees a packed line-up of bands play Vintage Rockbar, St George’s Gate.

On the bill are: Shermer, Black Wolf Catch, The Freefall, Dodge The Fox, Dead Man’s Boots, UV Pop, Shaggy Dog Story, James Taplin and The Smoking Beagles and Hot Gothic.

Doors open at 4pm, admission is £3.
