Charity and chills come together this Hallowe’en at Swinton’s Park View pub.

The spine-chilling staff have conjured up two eerie events for the haunted holiday – a kids party and a fearsome fundraising concert!

The children’s event, which takes place on the 31st features a fancy dress disco and all manner of fearsome fun and games, and takes place between 4 and 7pm.

Two days later, on the Saturday, the pub holds Hallow’bean Music Festival to raise cash for the Bluebell Wood Hospice.

The fest is a follow-up to a series of bean-themed events which have raised £12,000 in charity cash in the last three years.

Landlady Michelle Barber-Carr said: “I really like Hallowe’en – it’s always a great night and it’s a great opportunity to make some money for Bluebell Wood.

Bands on night include Mask of Virtue, the Apocalypse Dudes and Rage Against the Bean. Admission is £3.
