Doncaster boy band sensation Louis Tomlinson has landed a place in a the top ten of a list of the globe’s top fifty richest reality TV stars.
The Besscarrr singer and his One Direction band mates secured eighth spot in the list compiled by the The Sun on Sunday newspaper.
According to the rundown, the band, catapulted to stardom after appearing in the 2010 series of The X-Factor are worth a cool £14million each.
The list, in today’s newspaper says Louis and his pals have become the richest boy band ever to emerge from a TV talent show.
They have sold 45 million records worldwide, staged two sell out global tours and made their own movie.
The band have also released DVDs, their own fragrances as well as merchandise with everything from dolls, onesies, sweets and DVD covers available for fans.
It adds that Louis, 22, spent £2.5m on a flash North London home and a £90,000 car.
The singer was due to takeover Doncaster Rovers earlier this summer but the bid, put together in conjunction with former Rovers chairman John Ryan, collapsed at the last minute.
The list was topped by reality TV queen Kim Kardashian West with an estimated wealth of £39m while others in the top ten included Reggae Reggae Sauce guru Levi Roots, singer Susan Boyle, socialite Paris Hilton and Myleene Klass.
