Pull on your walking boots and join an organised walk through a Doncaster beauty spot on Sunday.

Staff from the Yorkshire Wildife Trust have organised a free guided walk around the nature reserve at Denaby Ings.

Those interested should meet in the car park, off Pastures Road, at 10:30am and the walk will last for about two hours.

It is open to everyone, but anyone who requires wheelchair access should contact the Trust on 01302 570077.

Denaby Ings is close to the urban areas of Denaby and Mexborough and there is a brilliant mix of habitats for a wide range of wildlife.

The reserve boasts woodland scrub, hedgerows, open water and riverside water meadows.

Please note that dogs are not permitted on the reserve as there are grazing animals.
