Doncaster & District CAMRA held 'Grand Depart' style launch for the upcoming 24th Doncaster Beer Festival

The Tour de France is coming to Yorkshire but Doncaster CAMRA is getting on its collective bike for this year’s Doncaster Beer Festival.

The 2014 festival theme is to celebrate the beers of Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire and London from breweries close to the first three stages of this year’s Tour de France.

The event will held at The Hub, Doncaster College, from Thursday April 24 - Saturday April 26 and will also include plenty of live music and 120 real ales and ciders.

District breweries such as Doncaster Brewery will be well represented at the branch’s 24th annual festival. In addition, there will be a foreign beer bar, fruit wines, food and live music.

A ‘Grand Depart’ style launch was held last week courtesy of Ian and Alison from Doncaster Brewery, who said: “There was a fantastic turn out from CAMRA members and friends. All present enjoyed the brilliant selection of beers on offer.”
