The National Trust’s Clumber Park will be hosting a dog fun day on Sunday August 5 2012 from 10am – 4pm.
With a pedigree dog show open to visitors including gun dog, terrier and hound classes, plus a novelty show for the best junior handler, best party trick and cutest puppy, there’s plenty of opportunity for you and your dog to get your paws on some prizes.
Enjoy agility and fly ball displays, pick up some doggy delights from Mrs Bishops Doggy Deli stall and find out more about Clumber Spaniels and their history at Clumber.
Event organiser, Penny Teasdale says, “It’s just a great day for the whole family and their dogs. There really is something for everybody with novelty classes designed for all ages, shapes and sizes, pedigree or not, it doesn’t matter. If you think you’ve got the cutest puppy, the waggiest tail or the prettiest bitch then you and you’re best friend need to be there!”
