REAL ale fans are in for a treat – with the return of the Doncaster Beer Festival next month.
The event, now in its 21st year, will be held between Thursday, April 14, and Saturday, April 16, at The Hub in Doncaster town centre.
Organisers Doncaster CAMRA have announced there will be more than 100 real ales, 25 ciders and perries, plus a large selection of bottled international beers and fruit wines.
Local brewers will be well represneted – as at least one ale will be available from each brewery within a 25-mile radius of the festival venue.
There will also be a theme this year to feature beers from breweries based on the coast and in the peaks.
There will also be a range of live music, featuring blues, rock and brass bands.
Dave Bartley, secretary of Doncaster CAMRA, said: “The festival is one of the biggest events on the calendar in Doncaster.
“We attract about 2000 people here every year from all over the country and there really is something for everyone.
“We want to make sure everyone has a good time and all the beer is gone, so please come along.”
