IT WAS party time at Warmsworth community library as users and volunteers celebrated a year of running the site.

The facility was one of the libraries which switched to being run by volunteers last March, having previously been run by Doncaster Council.

To celebrate their anniversary, the volunteers made cups and tea and served cakes to all everyone who visited during the day.

Warmsworth Library was one of 12 in the borough which switched under council cuts last year. Denaby and Carcroft libraries closed.
