A Spitfire display will be a special addition to this month’s Epworth Show, as the event helps to commemorate WWl.

Show organisers believe it to be fitting that the legendary Spitfire which was used during World War Two should stage a special flyover for the action-packed event on August 25.

At 2pm the skies above Epworth Showground will play host to the spectacular, to demonstrate the greatness of the Mk1 Spitfire that helped defend Britain in August 1938. The planes fought in every operational part of the war, and remained in RAF front-line service up to 1954.
