If you want to look your best, and enhance your facial features with a free treatment at an Epworth hair, beauty and tanning salon that has teamed up with your Epworth Bells - here’s your chance...

Leesa Sharpe, owner of Sunspot on Station Road, Epworth, and another salon at Low Street,Haxey, is offering a free eyebrow waxing treatment to any reader who presents a coupon from the Epworth Bells, and books an appointment.

The waxing is worth £5 and includes a pre-cleanse and aftercare, with careful shaping by qualified beautician Savannah.

This offer coincides with Sunspot’s eleventh birthday in Epworth.

Hair care was introduced 15 months ago and has proved so popular that Leesa is now expanding by a further two workstations, to add to four already placed in Epworth and two in Haxey.

The ‘one-stop-shop’ salon with hair, beauty and tanning all under one roof celebrated its 10th anniversary last year with a big pamper night, and has recently held another to support TeamVerrico’s charity fundraising for cancer sufferer Debs McNaughton.

With nine members of staff, including two new juniors who have just joined the team, Leesa can offer beauty treatments to hairdressing customers who might be waiting for colour to process and can take advantage of extra time to have their nails manicured, or similar.

Hair extensions are popular at the salon, that uses Racoon and Great Length products, guaranteed for five months with 100 per cent human hair. It’s important to use qualified hair specialists when considering hair extensions, said Leesa, because unless done properly they will not stand the test of time.

Quality products are important for both hair and beauty, she added, pointing to the Dermalogica skin care range used within the salon, and the Nioxin shampoo and conditioning treatments. All colours are Wella and the range of gel nails are all Gelish or Shellac.

An Isle woman herself, Leesa is proud of her “friendly, comfortable” salons that open from 9am to 7pm every weekday and 10am to 5pm on Saturdays, to allow working people plenty of chance to book a haircut or treatment. Out of hours appointments are also available on request.

On May 6 the salon has a Prep for Prom evening from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, with hair, make-up, nail testers and demonstrations, plus the chance to win an entire prom package in a prize draw that same day. To claim a free brow wax, simply take coupon from page 21 of this week’s Epworth Bells to Sunspot for your appointment.
