Year 2 pupils at Hill House School have been enjoying the sound of music - having just completed a new music scheme.
A class of seven-year-olds have had six months of expert tuition in violin or cello from experienced strings teachers Claire Cadman and Richard Fitton-Perkins.
Their lessons culminated in a grand concert.
Director of music Mark Cadman said: “The children have had a wonderful time and made really good progress.
“We have a strong tradition of music at the school, and giving all children expert lessons for such a long time should benefit all. Hopefully a good number of these children will take up their instruments permanently and develop into super players.”
