A Doncaster mum who likes to splash the cash on her children is set to appear on Channel 5 documentary, Blinging Up Baby, tonight.
Single mum Sami Bushell, 26, loves to dress up 18-month-old baby Halliemai to the nines, and claims to spend 70 per cent of her income on the toddler’s wardrobe.
And now Sami, who works as a beautician in Doncaster, is one of a number of parents set to appear on Blinging Up Baby.
The documentary, due to air tonight (July 28) at 9pm on Channel 5, follows parents who like to spoil their children and contribute towards the £5billion spent annually on childrens clothes in the UK.
Though on a low income, Sami manages to dress Halliemai in expensive designer clothes by having payment plans in place at local boutiques where she can “layaway” dresses and pay for them incrementally so as not to miss out.
Sami loves blinging up clothes and accessories for Halliemai herself, using her blinging tray of Swarovski crystals and sometimes she glams baby Halliemai up by painting her little toenails.
For all Sami knows, one year old Halliemai may turn out to be a tomboy so whilst she can, Sami dresses Halliemai up just how she likes and loves all the compliments she gets for doing it.
