WINGER Tyson Lewis has been revealed as the final piece of the Knights jigsaw for next season.

The former Plymouth Albion speedster (pictured) has become the 32nd player to pledge his future to the club and looks set to be a thrilling addition to the squad.

Lewis scored two tries against the Knights at Plymouth in December and caught the eye of Brett Davey in the process.

Davey said: “Tyson has shown he scores tries when he gets the opportunity and impressed against us in both the home and away tie.

“He more or less won the game for Plymouth at their place by scoring two well taken tries.

“I’m delighted he’s signed for us and he’ll bring a lot of pace and skill to the side.

“I would like to think we try and play a bit more rugby than most and that should give him greater opportunity to finish, which we have every confidence he will do.”

The 27-year-old had a short stint with Newcastle Falcons in the past but came to prominence with 34 tries over two seasons at Blackheath in National One.

That earned him a move to Plymouth and he also played in the JP Morgan Premiership 7s last year, one of only two non-top flight players to do so.

Head physio Vicky Chapman, meanwhile, has departed Castle Park after nine years with the club to expand her own personal practice.

Chapman arrived at the club under Kingsley Jones in 2004 and has worked with five head coaches in her tenure.

She said: “I’m extremely grateful to the club. They helped me set up my practice a few years ago and aided the expansion which has allowed to me take it full time.

“I have many fond memories of my many years at Castle Park, the best being promotion from National Two and when we first turned full time.

“Mostly I will miss the rugby environment and the banter between the lads.”
