DONCASTER Knights will unveil their new first team captain at Thursday night’s fans’ forum.

Chris Hallam has stepped down as skipper and director of rugby Brett Davey will confirm his replacement this evening at Castle Park.

Thursday’s Q&A session takes place in the Clubhouse Suite of the De Mulder Lloyd Stand from 7.30pm.

Fans are also invited to watch the Knights take part in an open training session from 6pm.

Knights travel to Championship newcomers Newcastle Falcons on Saturday for the first of three pre-season friendlies.

Davey’s men begin their Championship campaign at Plymouth Albion on Saturday, September 1.
