After a close first half had ended 11-6, the Doncaster side stepped up several gears and emerged comprehensive winners with six tries and five points to their name.

Collins then kicked a 30-metre drop goal on the half hour, but Wheatley were still ahead.
Northern pulled level shortly after play resumed, Dom Fawcett touching down after Collins had kicked across field and the winger had raced over unopposed.
However, thoughts of a comeback were soon on the back burner for the visitors, as Wheatley pulled out all the stops.
Woodcock scored his first try on 44 minutes and added the conversion, and No 8 Tom White touched down wide out on 49 minutes.
Woodcock added a difficult conversion to make it 25-11.
Winger James Montgomery secured a four-try bonus for Wheatley with his 55th minute try which Woodcock again converted from a narrow angle.
