Wath made to suffer

BARNSLEY CRICKET LEAGUE

WATH found themselves on the wrong end of a blitz as they were mauled by rampant Bradfield.

Michael Brown’s unbeaten century proved in vain as Rockingham lost by six wickets against Doncaster Town.

Brown posted 102no while Ben Dalton hit 50no as Rockingham set the target of 184-2. But Doncaster met the target inside 31 overs.

Kilnhurst continued their Division Two promotion charge as Dean Norton’s five wicket haul helped them to a comfortable nine–wicket win over Barnby Dun.

Hoylandswaine triumphed by 58 runs against promotion chasing Brodsworth, with Michael Cramner hitting 91.

Matthew Higgins starred with bat and ball as Mexborough continued their charge up the Division Three table with a seven wicket win over in-form Upper Haugh.
