Two rising stars have travelled to South Korea after being selected to represent Great Britain at the Taekwondo World Championships.

Ultimate Taekwondo pair Owen Turner, 12, and Mason Yarrow, 14, will compete on the world stage this weekend for the second consecutive year.

Turner, of Armthorpe, and Yarrow, from Dunscroft, also competed at the European Championships in June and will hope for another competitive weekend against the world’s elite.

The duo will then attend the British Championships in September, where Turner will be aiming to win the national crown for a fifth time.

Yarrow was last year named Team GB Cadet of the Year.
