Rotherham Olympian Amy Oliver has retained the Women’s Recurve National Archery Series Championship.
She won a tough final against three-times Olympian Naomi Folkard in the Nottingham Building Society GB National Series finals at Wollaton Park. Amy took the title in four sets, with a final score of 112-107. Amy, a member of Dearne Valley Archery Club, said: “It feels amazing to win. I was nervous going up against Naomi as she is so good, but I’ve been training hard at the Archery GB National Sports Centre, going head to head with the other archers, which has paid off today. I came here to defend my title, especially as I’m not injured this year, so I’m really pleased.”
