ROCKINGHAM slumped to a heavy defeat to Thorncliffe in their first match of the Division One campaign.
Overseas star Luvkesh hit a brave 53 but Rockingham closed on 110-9 which proved a simple target for Thorncliffe.
Wath slipped to defeat to Doncaster Town after struggling on a good batting surface,
Will Turner’s 51 boosted the total to a meagre 145-8 but the target never fazed Doncaster.
Division Two leaders Kilnhurst thrashed winless Sprotbrough by 154 runs.
Kilnhurst smacked a brilliant 309-6 with prolific scorer Greg Norton hitting 96 and Callum Deardon (55), Tim Whitehouse (45) and David Plummer (36) also on good form.
Dean Norton then wreaked havoc with the ball to claim 5-44 as Sprotbrough tumbled to 155 all out.
South Kirkby moved into second place with a narrow win over Barnby Dun.
Ashley Vickers’ 50 and 46 from Chris Swift helped Kirkby post 182 before Liam Rollin starred to claim 5-48, as Barnby were restricted to 156-9.
Hoylandswaine cruised to a seven wicket win over Higham who were dismissed for 184.
Openers Callum Lee (68) and Stuart Wilson (29) laid a solid platform for Hoylandswaine’s successful chase.
Mexborough maintained their unbeaten start to the Division Three season with a dominant 232 run win over Thurgoland.
Overseas star, Larchie McKenna, blasted a magnificent 107 in quick time as Mexborough posted 252-5, Steve Honeyman offering support with 78.
In reply Thurgoland were skittled out for a paltry 20 in just 12.1 overs.
