Pilkingtons D get off mark thanks to Kelley and Calum

DAVE Henson (21-5) and Ged Lewis (21-9) did well for Armthorpe B in their 162-122 Doncaster BA Midweek League Division Three home win over Yorkshire Main B.

Amthorpe B made home advantage pay when beating Adwick 146-129.

Martin Bowley (21-7), Ralph Yates (21-6) and Frank Glover (21-4) impressed in Yorkshire Main C’s 147-116 win over Tickhill, for whom John Marshall (21-9) caught the eye.

Malcolm Tetley (21-9) couldn’t prevent Parklands B suffering a 145-135 defeat at Yorkshire Main B.

Kelley Rumney (21-7) and Calum O’Brien (21-8) both featured prominently for Pilkingtons Recreation D as they beat Adwick D 137-129 to gain their first Division Four win of the season. Steve Wilkes (21-8) shone for Adwick.

Roy Thompson (21-8) and Stewart Allen (21-9) both starred in Rossington B’s 159-107 win over Carcroft C.

Roy Sykes’ 21-2 win proved vital for Unison B as Ken Fishwick (21-9) almost earned Rossington B, beaten by just a point, a draw.

Craig Rumney and Hannah Brown were 21-9 winners for Pilkingtons Rec in their 79-52 Doubles League Division One victory over Rossington.

Yorkshire Main got a good start from Mick O’Sullivan and Keith Dawson (21-8) in their 80-59 win over Thorpe Marsh Bentley.

Stan Dennis and Brian Harvey (21-8) caught the eye for Parklands in their 76-62 Division Two win at Askern.

John Baldwin and Steve Crookes (21-7) were the only winners for Adwick as Frank Potts and Brian Line won 21-9 to secure Westfield Park, who moved level with them at the top of the table, a 70-56 success.

Ken Booth and Keith Turton (21-9) gave Armthorpe B a 73-72 Division Three at victory at Denaby B.

Steve Hallas and Andrew Kershaw (21-5) won the match (77-64) for Armthorpe B against Bentley Colliery.

Carcroft B won 73-63 at Parklands B.

Graham Kendell and Walter Barnett won 21-2 for Harvesters in their 84-52 Division Four win over visiting Westfield Park B.
