Dean Hipwell endured mixed fortunes in the tenth round of the British Supersport Championship, writes Roy Cross.
The Harworth rider and Doncaster MotoBreakers duo James Lodge and Benjamin Currie took to the track at The Dutch Assen TT circuit.
Hipwell managed to fend off a late challenge from Luke Mossey to claim his top ten. Currie and Lodge finished 17th and 20th respectively.
Sunday’s feature race saw Hipwell experience a broken clutch on the CDH Triumph forcing him to end his race. He won eight championship points. Currie saw his end his race in the eighth lap.
