The Star’s greyhound is in need of a confidence boost after finishing in fourth position in her latest race.
Star Grass Roots has been racing in the A6 class recently - grades run from A8 to A1, with A1 being the fastest.
Sam Tweed, racing manager at Owlerton Greyhound Stadium, said: “She encountered a bit of crowding in her latest race but still was only beaten by three lengths into fourth place.
“She’s not managed to win an A6 yet, which is what we are confident she will do. But a drop to A7 is a possibility as this may give her the confidence she needs to get back to winning ways.”
