Max Litchfield cemented his place at the European Junior Championships with a medal winning display at the British Gas International.
Doncaster Dartes’ rising star earned bronze in the 400m individual medley senior final at Leeds’ John Charles Centre.
He also finished fastest junior at 200m individual medley, second fastest at 400m individual medley and 200m freestyle, and third fastest junior at 400m freestyle.
Litchfield’s performances earned him a spot in Team GB’s 24-strong Euro squad for July’s meeting in Poland.
Jarvis Parkinson and Max’s younger brother Joe, both 14, also fared well in Leeds.
Despite being one of the youngest competitors at the inaugural meeting, Parkinson forced himself into three junior finals, blitzing his previous best times to finish fifth, sixth and eighth alongside some of the best juniors in the country.
Litchfield just missed out on a junior final in the 200m backstroke despite notching a personal best.
