An unbeaten 101 by Warren Bird was the highlight of Darfield ‘s match-winning 165 against Caribbean, for whom Saman Khursheed took 4-33 and Andrew Jackson 3-47. Caribbean (Saman Khursheed 41no, Andrew Jackson 29, Waheed Bhatti 27) were 145 all out in reply. Ian McDermott took 3-20.
Handsworth WMC (Liam Flynn 34, Mark Devine 32, Hyat Banaris 31) piled up a match-winning 201 all out. Whiston Meths, for whom Simon Roebuck took 3-15, were 135-9 in reply (Liam Alcock 41no). Patrick Angell bagged 3-28.
